Radoslaw
Fizek was born in Rybnik, Poland and started playing the violin when he
was seven years old. He studied violin for twelve years at music
academies in Rybnik, Gliwice and Warsaw, Poland, specializing in violin
performance. Radoslaw also plays the piano, keyboard, guitar, trumpet
and is an accomplished vocalist, having sung this past holiday season
with the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh conducted by Marvin Hamlish. To
date he has toured in 11 countries with various groups, most notably
with the "Mazowsze" Song & Dance Ensemble and played first violin for
the Panstwowy Zespol Artystyczny Wojska Polskiego and the Edgewood
Symphony in Pittsburgh area.
In 2004
Radoslaw recorded a CD of Polish "Koledy" or Christmas Carols entitled
"Bog Sie Rodzi"
